Biomaterials (RSB Participant Code 00001) with continuous recertification since 2012.

RSB certification is the world’s most-trusted and credible practical standard for the
bioeconomy, with recognition from global non-government organisations to Australian state
biofuel regulations.
In keeping with the third RSB principle for alternative fuels and materials produced within
the circular bioeconomy to contribute to climate change mitigation, and significantly reduce
lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil-based options, Manildra Group’s
ethanol achieved a 58 per cent reduction in emissions per megajoule unit in biofuel blends,
compared to petroleum, in 2024.
Our RSB certification extends access to a global network of industry innovators driving
progress in the circular bioeconomy and increases Manildra Group’s capacity to more
effectively respond to sustainability challenges and opportunities to scale our own business
impact. This includes the RSB’s full membership in the International Social and
Environmental Accreditation and Labelling (ISEAL) Alliance, supporting the global
sustainability of bio-based fuel and materials production and their downstream applications.
