In sustainably circular processes of production adding value to 100 per cent of the wheat grain, the largest wheat gluten and starch facility of its kind showcases Manildra Group’s zero-waste approach to advanced manufacturing at Nowra, on the New South Wales south coast.

The 55-hectare site integrates our state-of-the-art flour mills, vital wheat gluten and starch facilities, modern laboratories, packaging plant and distribution hub, stockfeed and syrup operations, and our world-class water treatment plant and ethanol distillery, as Southeast Asia’s largest for sustainably certified ethyl-alcohols in grades from pure grain-neutral spirits to renewable biofuels.

For round-the-clock service with unrivalled quality and innovation, Manildra Group’s state-of-the-art flour mills span the New South Wales wheatbelt – from Gunnedah in the state’s north to Australia’s largest mill in central west Manildra, and south to Narrandera and Nowra. Milling only non-genetically modified Australian wheat since 1952, our signature Gem of the West flours and specialty bakery mixes include household and custom blends for domestic and export markets.

In partnership with the Mac Smith family, our fully integrated canola and oilseed crushing, refining and packaging operation at our world-class Manildra site, in central west New South Wales, produces non-genetically modified vegetable oils, canola meal, and stockfeed products for food manufacturers, service industries, distributors, retailers, and farmers across Australia and the world.
