Our continuous reinvestment across the New South Wales wheatbelt includes high-capacity grain storage sites to supply thousands of tonnes of non-genetically modified grain, free of any pesticide residue, to our regional advanced manufacturing facilities for transformation into premium products transported worldwide.
Through zero-waste processes of advanced manufacturing, we partner with farmers to add value to Australian agriculture, producing premium food and industrial ingredients to international sustainability standards of best-practice.
At the heart of our uniquely integrated international agribusiness are Australia’s grain, sugarcane and canola communities, driving our proactive partnerships for industry-leading development of supply chain sustainability.
Manildra Group’s entire wheat source is purchased locally from more than 2000 Australian farming families and grain traders, to make our 100 per cent Australian range of staple and specialty food and industrial products for the world.
Non-genetically modified canola oilseed is purchased directly from more than 1000 Australian farmers to produce premium oil, meal and stockfeed at our fully integrated oilseed crushing, refining, packaging and stockfeed manufacturing operation at Manildra, in the heart of central west New South Wales.
In partnership with more than 500 farming families of the New South Wales Sugar Milling Co-operative, up to 2.4 million tonnes of sugarcane is grown over about 34,000 hectares in the state’s northern rivers region, for Manildra Harwood Sugars to mill about 275,000 tonnes of raw sugar annually.
