Our four state-of-the-art flour mills, in the heart of the Australian wheatbelt produce a full range of wheat flours, bakery premixes and associated specialist products for domestic and export bakery markets. We mill enough flour in one second for 100 loaves of bread, processing over one million metric tonnes of wheat per annum – almost one-sixth of NSW’s total annual production.

Manildra Group have been producing vital wheat gluten as part of an integrated manufacturing process in Nowra, NSW. The largest wheat starch and gluten plant of it’s kind in the world, we operate the most advanced industry technology to separate the gluten (protein) from the flour to produce vital wheat gluten for baking and other applications. Manildra’s vital wheat gluten is a high-protein, fine powder extracted from 100 per cent Australian wheat flour. We have become the worlds leading vital wheat gluten producer for the baking industry. Vital wheat gluten is used to improve flour quality, strength, elasticity and gas retention in dough and enhances texture in baked goods.
