Dick Honan

Chairman 

During his time as Chairman of the Manildra Group Dick Honan has successfully grown the Company to be one of the largest wheat starch & gluten producers in the world.

Dick obtains immense loyalty due to his hands on approach to the Company and his involvement in all aspects of the business and encourages this throughout his staff.

John Honan

Managing Director

After completing a Bachelor of Agriculture and Economics at University, John Honan joined the Manildra Group in 1995 where he worked in the marketing area for the company. During 1997 John transferred within the organisation to work in our Kansas City Office where he gained further experience and eventually return to Australia. John is currently involved in the sales, marketing and management aspects of the business. Given the vast amount of experience and knowledge John has gained over the years he has now taken on the role as Managing Director.

Peter Simpson

General Manager

Peter Simpson has been the General Manager of the Manildra Group since 1993. Formally President of the Council of Australian Food Technology. Member of Australian Ireland Economic Committee, Councillor of the NSW Chamber of Manufacturers. Member of Australian Institute of Scientific and Technologist. Member of Australian Pulp & Paper Institute. Formally President the Food Technology of New South Wales.

Peter possesses over forty years of experience in both the Food and Paper Industries, during which time he has developed a network of agents for the export of our products overseas.

Caroline Honan

Director 

Caroline has had experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry working for Coca- Cola Amatil. Caroline established the Manildra Retail Division which focuses on selling both private label and branded products into our major retailers. Our retail team is committed to expanding the retail business to include other branded and private label retail products.

Caroline also oversees all marketing and corporate communications across the business.

Murray Newman

National Sales Manager

Murray joined Manildra in 1989 after graduating from University. After working as an Account Manager in our Sydney office, he was promoted to NSW State Sales Manager and within a year the New Zealand & South Pacific regions were added to his responsibility. Murray was later promoted to the roll of National Sales & Marketing Manager with his team having total responsibility for Australian and associated markets.

Murray has extensive knowledge of the Australasian food market, covering baking, beverage, confectionery, ice cream, pasta and associated retail clients. His experience also covers the industrial market including plasterboard, mining and corrugating.

Michael Brink

National Sales Manager – Retail

Michael joined The Manildra Group in June 2004 in the newly created role of National Sales Manager Retail to manage and develop this rapidly expanding area of the business. The Manildra retail division is a major supplier of branded and private label products to the Australian Supermarket Chains. Michael has developed the Manildra retail division through his knowledge and experience gained within the FMCG industry in sales and marketing management roles with major organisations such as Pernod Ricard, Dairy Farmers, ACNielsen & Cadbury Schweppes.

Adam Armstrong

Victorian State Sales Manager

Adam has an Advanced Diploma of Business/Marketing. Adam has over 15 years experience within the food industry. Adam joined Manildra Group in 2000 as an Account Manager within the Food Division. Adam has played a key role in the Bakers Delight Account managing the strategic direction of that account and handling their expectations. Adam was appointed to the role of Victorian State Sales Manager in 2003 managing the Victorian sales force as well as key accounts.

Adam is the main contact for the development and marketing of the Healthy Baker Fats and Margarines range.

Mark Baczynski

Product Development Manager

Mark has a Degree in Chemical Engineering (honours) and has won major awards such as the PC Brooks Chemical Engineering Design Award and the Churchill Fellowship (Design of Waste Reduction Systems for the Baking Industry). Mark joined Manildra in March 2000. Mark has had extensive experience in product, process and quality optimisation in flour milling and baking. Mark plays a key role in technical support for our key accounts ensuring constant monitoring of product quality and innovation. Mark travels extensively to keep abreast of global trends in the milling and baking industry. Recently Mark has been heavily involved in the development of low carbohydrate products for the US market that will also be added to our product range.

Barry Bance

NSW and NZ Sales Manager

Barry has been involved in the Food Industry since 1986 both in a Manufacturing capacity and in a sales role. Barry Joined Manildra in 1999 as an Account Manager and then moved into his current role about 3yrs ago. Other responsibilities include, looking after the sales of Manildra Group products to the New Zealand market, managing a team of highly motivated Account Managers and National Call Staff.

Bruce Feodoroff

QLD Sales Manager

Bruce has been involved in the baking industry for approx 22 years. He is a qualified tradesman in both baking and pastry cooking and ran his family business for several years and then owned and managed his own bakery. He joined Manildra Group in March 2003 as a Sales Representative in the food industry before being promoted to QLD Sales Manager after 2 years. Bruce has helped develop products for major clients within QLD and is responsible for the Eagleboys account nationally.
